I know you're tired of hearing this but GOTDAMN

This is getting ridiculous to see. I am starting to loose faith in ebay when I see this stuff popping up constantly. I know the majority of it runs smoothly and is populated by honest people but can't they do more to stop these theives?

Dang! $5,000 "Buy it Now" isn't bad! I think I just found my second busa! Been looking for another one for the right price so I can have a drag bike and a street cruiser. Schweet! :super:

I think the only way they catch half of these items is if people bring it to their attention. I know they have a security section, but I don't they focus on specific items until they are clued in.

You are bidding on a one owner 2002 Hayabusa GSX1300R,

MUST BE THE THIEF WHO DOESN'T HAVE THE PROPER PAPERS"I LOST THEM" BUYER BEWARE!

I've never been into E-Bay stuff too much, but when looking at the ad, it said
"Vehicle Condition: Used, but very clean. Small chip in top left side of tank - about 1/8" round. "

If you look on the right side, someone has done some repair work to the plastic. You can see the feathering from what appears to be wet-sanding behind the radiator exhaust port. I find it odd that they would notice the little 1/8" round chip, and miss this glaring flaw.

Maybe it's custom paint, or one of those stickers like the fake bullet holes. Yeah, that's it.

All I see is reflections and a fairing fastener there, dude. You must have better (or worse) eyes than I have to see sanding marks in such a low res photo. :super:

Actually things have gone pretty well forme shopping on ebay. out of 30 odd transactions I've only had one bad deal... And Ebay reimbursed me for part of the transaction. But what I learned was to only buy from people who have esablished a buyer/seller record and who have a 98% or better rating. Never send cash, check or money order, but paypal. I think if you shop wisely you can get some great deals... and the old adage is still seems to old true if it sounds to good to be true, its probably not. Shop wisely!

BulletTrain - Maybe I'm looking at the picture wrong, but I've highlighted the area I thought was sanding marks. It still doesn't look like a reflection to me, but I'll take your word for it. Look at the picture below.

busabrother - I re-read the post and see that you bought the bike two weeks prior to this ad on e-bay. My bad  .
I was just saying what I saw. Maybe it was painted before you bought it. If done right, repair work can be undetectible, and look as good as the factory. Either way, you've got a nice bike  .

Crap...I forgot to reduce the image size again. Sorry about that.

Hehehe... Yeah, I see what you're seeing now. It does look kinda like feathered out sanding edges but it's a reflection.
