Picked up my 03 silver/gray this weekend. On the bottom of the hump is taped 2 spacers. Dealer service guy had no clue what they are for. Nothing listed in service manual or owners manual. I'm thinking maybe used so the grab rail can be used with hump? Can you folks enlighten me on what they are for, and where they are used. Only put 20 or so miles on the Busa yesterday, but I am sure liking it.    Thanks

When you remove the grab rail, you can see what the spacers are for. They are extras. (I don't really know, but that is what I assumed)

They go in the 2 front mounting holes after the grab rail is removed then u reinstall the bolts. You cant use the hump with the grab rail without grinding it to clear the rail.

Thanks guys. I removed the rail this morning and see that the supplied spacers need to be used in lieu of the long ones used in two of the holes for the rail. Now it's time to put some more miles on the bike. Later

What to do with them fat little washers in the Box with your hump...What to do... I was wondering for a little while when I got my ride home...Them once I got the grabrail off it was pretty clear...
