HRH and I are moving to VT

My wife was born in New York and her father was transferred to Vermont for several years when IBM opened a facility there. She absolutely loved it. This would have been mid to late 90's when she was in high school. It is definitely a whole different culture, or at least was back then. Way different from New York. As posted above mostly white, lots of guns and hunting, lots of libertarians, and beautiful country with lots of trees. Sounds like just the place for me! Pretty similar to rural Minnesota actually. Good luck with your new adventure and enjoy!

congrats! can't wait to come up and go riding with you...at least we'll have a larger window of opportunity than we did in TX during the single week of sub triple digit temps you had each year

congrats on the job! your officially a "new englander". brace yourself for the snow, it will blow your socks off. try skiing/snow boarding because that is the prime state for it here in the north east and it makes winter fun.:beerchug:

You're leaving Texas to become a Yankee? Whats the matter with you, lol.

Congrats on the new job.

Just so everyone knows...... If you're not in Texas you're a Dam Yankee!
