How to tell the model of Gen II from the VIN number?

I haven't seen one but I'm guessing your correct . I don't think they would add a number to the vin as all are a certain amount so yes most likely an 10 will be an 0 and an 11 will be a 1 .
There are some people here with 2010s maybe they can confirm that .

2010 maybe an "0" or an the letter "A" and 2011 maybe a "1" or the letter " A or B" not sure what year they are switching back to letters, they change the cycle from numbers to letters and then back to numbers.

As 10 digit if you read from right to left like the rest of us here in the states :poke:

Some Canadian and other foreign vehicles have an 18 or 16 digit code instead of 17 so that won't work all the time .
8th digit from right to left will :poke:

8th digit in the car business is the engine size in 17 digit VINS! 10th has always been the year in 17 digit VINS!
