How to remove sticker/graphic residue?

Hello all,

I'm a new Hayabusa owner and recently decided to remove part of the OE decal graphic package on my bike. They came off easy enough with the help of a heat gun, but for the life of me, I can't see to get rid of the residue left behind. I've tried bug and tar remover and Goo Gone. Are other suggestions? I figured enough of you folks have done this that someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

WD-40, let it sit for a bit and wipe off.

I have a theory that my applicator (heavy duty paper towel) wasn't good enough. Tonight I'll also ty the Goo Gone again with a bug scrubbing sponge.

I found with goo gone you really need to let it sit on there for a few minutes for it to be effective...

When you guys removed the decals, did you use heat?

I'm now wondering if I somehow cooked the adhesive on there during removal...

id rather peel them cold,I seen a dude over heat his plastic and warp it up using a heat gun.

I've been installing and removing decals for just about forty years, heat gun to remove the decal & Rapid Remover to remove the adhesive. Rapid Remover is the most commonly used adhesive remover within the decal, sign, wrap industry, stuff works incredibly well.

Love this stuff, had some duct tape adhesive on my fairing for 2 plus years nothing would touch. Let this stuff set and soak for 10 minutes loaded up a rag with it and wiped it off.
