How to measure stretch

We just stretched Misty yesterday, Here is my question, Curious to see if I get different answers.

How exactly do you determine what your stretch is.

I myself took the original axle point and the new axle point 6 1/2" difference

But I have seen Bikes on here that say they are stretched 6" and that rear tire is either alot further in or even out further than mine.

yup, there's only one way that I know of. Wheelbase is wheel base and that's done by measuring between front and rear axle. :beerchug:

ditto-axle to axle cant change it but one of two ways: stretch bike, raise/lower bike *the latter of which makes about 1/4" or less of difference...usually*

I say:tell everyone you bike is stretched 9" over and then wait for them to ask 'why'?
then just smile, like I do:laugh:
