How is this a good idea?

I saw this on a forum I frequent a bit (and said my piece about it in the thread), but I just find it staggering that people think this is a good idea.

Their argument is it's not a sport bike, I just don't buy it.

It just doesn't seem safe to me, or worthy of the risk to save a few dollars. :\

I saw a Harley the other day that had a car tire on it, very wide & low profile tire such as the ones you see on larger wheels on cars, all I could think was how much is that thing gonna fight ya in a turn, he seemed to be havin a hell of a time just trying to roll the bike sitting on it to get it into a parking spot, hey maybe it keeps em from falling over after leavin the bar.
