How is a 2005 ?

Hello all,

Question from a newbie.
I am looking at a 2005 Busa. I have no clue as to whether this is a good or bad year for the bike. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

There is no bad year for the bike. The earlier bikes had some problem that had a recall, but after that all is good.

I purchased a used 2005 in March & love it ... great bike.

Love mine - no problems except for wearing out rear tires - But do watch the idle speed as there are issues below the recommended 1100-1250 where the bike will stall at idle.  That is a small thing but important.

Just bought an '05 from a board member about 2 months ago and am really happy with it. I haven't

heard of any problems relating to the 2005, go for it!

think 03-07 are the same exact bike with the exception of a flash to pass switch added in 05 i think
