How I Spent My Fathers Day !

My 15 year long former employer who is like a 2nd Father was alone today as his kids live in Connecticut.
Yesterday the wife , and I went over for BBQ as well as to fix the pool pump filters . It had been awhile since
serious work had been done on the 20 acres so went back today to knock it out with pole saw , mowing , and weed eating . Seven hours in 95 degree temps , and I was done . Some help from my son Hunter , and Vin
then it was enjoy the pool for a bit that was much more fun .
We came home to my great wife had purchased me a new GRILL ! I dont like full size grills just a FYI .
I broke it in this evening for the family . Boy oh boy dinner was good !
Also the .357 was just for those critters that cause problems . Good old RAT shot !

I got out yesterday for a tank full but today my daughter came over and made me dinner! Homemade rub on a huge Atlantic Salmon steak, shrooms and rice! Perfection! We went to the shooting range earlier in the day. She's still breaking in the S&W Airweight I got her. I took my Colt 1911. Lots of father daughter/sons there. Had to wait 20 minutes for a lane it was so packed. We watched (the game) before dinner. Great day but sorry my son had to work, on his first daddy's day. My grand daughter at seven months, Stella Rose
