How do you Modify the Hump to leave grab bar on

I have seen other Hayabusa's that have the hump on, and the grab bar in place. How do they do that. Do you use a dremel tool. any suggestions

I just removed the grab bar. Haven't weighed mine but have heard it's a seven pound savings.

i did it on the gen1 but i think i will leave it alone this go around. i rarely have passengers and you can't remove the rail without seeing the holes from the mod.
