Well, as planned, I went to Hot Bodies this morning and had them install the rear tire hugger and undertail.

I got some shots of the before/after, and some during install.

I'm writing the article for them over the weekend. In the interim, enjoy the pix.

:beerchug:

At first...a couple shots 'before the undertail', even before it was cleaned!!!

Then, as the work progressed...

A pic of Wasabi without her tail section fairings...

and a pic of the inside of the undertail kit...

A few more miscellaneous shots...

Accommodating the Clear Alternatives Tag Bracket...

A shot of the base of the Clear Alternatives Tag Bracket.

Drilling the holes in the Stock Undertail for the bolts...

The undertail kit includes a mini LED-light to illuminate the kanji. Rather cool...

Then, on to the 'hugger' install.

Here's a pic of what it looks like...right out of the package.

Then, a couple of miscellaneous ones during install. One thing to remember is that you lost your chain guard with this installation...

And lastly for this purpose...the finished product.

Granted, it's dark inside there...hence, difficult to see.

I am telling you guys...this shiz looks fantastic in person. I'll see if I can get some more revealing pix in the days to come. I definitely need to get a couple more to accompany the forthcoming article (the deadline for which is this coming Monday).

Enjoy!

As a final 'treat', I took a couple of gratuitous pix of what a busa looks like hard at work in HotBodiesRacing's headquarters office.

As I scroll back through the preceding images, I notice two things.

1. I am not doing the install. :beerchug:
2. There are no chicken-strips on my tires.

Just thought I'd share those observations.

Glad to see you thought enough of hotbidies to buy and have them install your undertail. Lookin good... I just ordered one which was supposed to be here today, but that definately isn't happening.... Looks good, and I hope mine looks as good as yours.
