Honda 50 racing

Not your usual speed here but great fun at a Honda 50 (Nifty Fifty) endurance race at Mondello today. The guy leading on lap 1 is none other than Moto2 star Scott Redding

That looks like fun! Is it called nifty fifty because of the 50cc bikes, the age of the riders, or because 50mph is top speed during that race?

I'm pretty sure that very few of them would threaten 50mph

It's a 6 hour endurance race with teams of 4 riders.

There are also 3 classes, 50cc, 70cc and 90cc.

Looks like fun! Racing is fun when you are all close to the same speed, no matter how slow it is!
