Electric carving knife, staple gun and a Friend that does upholstery, $20. Leather look vinyl and some spray glue. Maybe not quite as pretty as Tobin or New Image but I dont see it while I ride , it sure feels great. I thought if I screwed it up I could always send it out but I am satisfied, I also have the Suzi Gel, and switch back and forth. $45.00 and a free haircut. What u think? Custom made to my skinny butt.

Thanks Guys, Perhaps I should not compare my work to Tobin, or New Image they were only inspiration. I have made or had made custom seats for many of my bikes, I ride a lot , most every day and I seek comfort and somtimes a diff style. The Bar and Shield is an inside joke between my Harley rider friends and my eclectic ways. I have owned over 100 bikes in the past 40 years, all makes and models, Yes a lot of Harleys. I am not a bike snob I like anything with 2 wheels. My favorite bike is the one i ride today.

Good job.Yes Sir, I used the stock foam. Check out the thread "visited New Image" there are some pics that show how to cut the foam. It took 3 or 4 cuts to get it right, it will be 1 or 2 inches lower , adjust the hump for her by having her sit on the bike and use a marker around her rearend , you should have plenty of foam for comfort. Try it , if you mess up you can still have it done by Tobin.
Sir, I would not do this for another person, I am hardly satisfied myself. After starting this project I almost gave up and sent it out myself. It is more for go than show. Thanks, I will accept your ? as a compliment.
