help with turbo selection

Alright guys Im looking at some remanufactured turbos for the 05 busa that i am building the kit for, the motor is basically stock and im only going to be pushing 8psi. there are a few options please tell me what one you would be my best option. All of them are remanufactured garetts.


A. T3 45 trim $369.00
TURBO SPECIFICATIONS:
compressor wheel: 40.5 / 60.1mm 45 trim
compressor housing: 0.42 a/r
center section: oil cooled journal bearings
Turbine wheel: 68 trim (stage1)
Turbine housing .48 a/r

B. GARRETT T3 / T04B "S" trim $379.00
TURBO SPECIFICATIONS:
compressor wheel: 48.4 / 69.9 mm 48 "S" Trim
compressor housing: 0.60 a/r T04B
center section: oil cooled journal bearings
Turbine wheel: 68 trim (stage1)
Turbine housing .48 a/r

C. T3 50 trim $379.00
TURBO SPECIFICATIONS:
compressor wheel: 42.5 / 60.1mm 50 trim
compressor housing: 0.42 a/r
center section: oil cooled journal bearings
Turbine wheel: 68 trim (stage1)
Turbine housing .48 a/r

D. T3 / T04E 40 trim $389.00
TURBO SPECIFICATIONS:
compressor wheel: 47.5 / 74.9 mm 40 trim
compressor housing: 0.50 to 0.70 a/r (configuration and A/R may vary depending on inventory)
center section: oil cooled journal bearings
Turbine wheel: 68 trim (stage1)
Turbine housing .48 a/r

E. T3 60 trim $389.00
TURBO SPECIFICATIONS:
compressor wheel: 46.5 / 60.1 mm 60 trim
compressor housing: 0.60 a/r

Any of those with the larger compressor wheel would be the best option. The smaller A/R on the turbine side will make it spool quickly,....but depending on the exducer size of the turbine wheel,......it might have a little back pressure at the engine's redline. I would really like to see the compressor maps for the larger turbos. Good luck on your choice!

eccept had them upgrade the turbine housing to a .63 a/r

should be here in about a week

Good choice for a Stage 1 setup. That turbo should easily support over 300 horsepower if you do a few additional engine mods. Good luck with it! BTW......are these turbos from Master Power? I had looked at a few of those for a Honda Civic project.
