Help with Fuel Pump or Wiring Harness

Native Busa

I was attempting to change my spark plugs, on my 2004 Busa approximately 2 weeks ago to attend the Bike Fest last weekend in MD. I had a friend assisting me, who moved to quickly, and when my gas tank was lifted, all of the fuel leaked out of the tank from the connectors-wiring ( black bracket) which is the power for the fuel tank.

I need to know from you guys. Do I need to replace the entire pump, or can I just replace the wiring/connectors? Pics attached...Thanks in advance

I can’t hardly tell what that is. Kind of hard to see. So as long as it’s external and you have enough space to work with you could repair the wiring.
I don’t recall seeing those on my pump but it’s been a little bit so I may have forgotten.

It’s an internal fuel pump off Gen 1 (2004) I will include a pic a little further out.

Not 100 percent but from the looks of the parts diagram looks like you'll need to replace the sending unit
