2008 Gen II Hayabusa.
While removing the engine for a transmission change, we wriggled the engine a little to get the chain off the sprocket. A rubber cushion dropped out from somewhere just rear of the shift shaft or maybe behind the side stand attachment point (stand had already been removed) or even the sprocket cover (swung up over the frame). I can't find any reference to it on Hayabusa micro-fiche parts diagrams, and there's no mention of removing it in my Hayne's repair manual.
Does anyone here recognise the part, and what location and orientation it goes back in?
