Heated Grips - Easiest live feed

Hi

This is my first technical thread so please go easy on me

I've done a search but so far haven't found what I'm looking for. Can anyone tell me the easiest place to wire in my heated grips so the power is off when the ignition is off?

BoostBySmith makes an aux power lead that will tap the power up front you can use (switched) just not sure how much amperage it will handle..

The best way to do it is to wire the grips straight to the battery, but through a fuse and a relay. This will ensure the grips get maximum power to heat the grips, but at the same time won't risk burning out your factory wiring harness.
