Headlamp Adapter?

I purchased a Xenon Clear White Headlamp Kit (H7) for a Hayabusa. I replaced the high-beam with no problem on my 1999 Busa but the stock lo-beam headlamp has two fat pins placed wide and the new, Xenon H7 bulb has two narrow pins closer together. A different dealer sells the same, close pin bulb for Hayabusas. They told me that there is a stock adapter between the bulb and the plug but my bike does not have anything of the sort.

Do I need to get a new adapter or a new bulb (H4, H7?)? Any ideas where I can get the parts?

There should be a black plastic adapter from the factory........If yours is missing check the bulb you took out! Probably still attached...........If not, you can get one from your local dealer.

Be sure and clean the bulbs you install with acetone.........Or you'll be doing this mod again! Also, might put some electrical grease on the conectors to prevent moisture from entering plug.........................Ks
