There are several methods that have been used successfully. There are several kits available that include aluminum billet machined rails to fit the Hayabusa frame and support the K8 seat box. I used the stock Hayabusa subframe and cut it apart and used the pieces to build my own rails. Unless you are very mechanically inclined and have a lot of time on your hands, a kit will be the best way to go.
Mine is 2nd hand GSXR K6 plastics, subframe, lights etc.
A mate with a welder chopped it and with a few bits and pieces added / removed
its a straight bolt on. Bit DIY / homemade but works fine.
