I was looking on the internet for a Hayabusa hat. I found a hat that I like (see pic below) However, it is a vinyl decal applied to the hat.

I then reached out to a local embroidery shop to see if they would embroider a hat with this design. They have a minimum quantity requirement, so I thought I would see if any other members would be interested in getting a custom embroidered Hayabusa hat?

Or, does anyone have any input on where to buy a sweet looking Hayabusa hat?

    Thanks

yes, the colors can be changed.

Here are some of the changes I am thinking about. Please let me know what you think

All hats will be flex fit. This means there are 2 sizes. s/m and L/XL

Hat color I am thinking will be black, can also be white

Replace the SUZUKI "S" logo and "Hayabusa" with the kanji logo (red color) instead.

Replace the "Kanji" logo on the bill, with the word "Hayabusa"

on the left side of the hat the word "suzuki"

on the right side of the hat "GSX1300R"

What do you think? I will be talking with the embroidery people tomorrow, and getting the minimum quantity requirements and pricing. Please let me know what you think ... Thanks

I was at my local Suzuki dealer yesterday and they had white hats wit the blue kanji embroidered on it. I'll try to get a picture and price to post.

I usually wear mine backwards. What about Replace the S with a bigger Kanji "red" and leave the brim of the hat black. Have Hayabusa written on the "back" of the hat "my front lol" ditch the S and the gsxr1300 all together. The S is lame in my opinion. my 2 cents:whistle:

if you want the gsxr1300 and the suzuki spells out maybe put them on the sides.

Thats pretty much the same as what I had posted in my second response with the exception of the Hayabusa written on the back..

I agree, the "S" is pretty lame...

Sounds like I need to get some hats ordered?? lol

I have not met with the embroidery people yet, I will be meeting with them tomorrow.
There are a few factors to consider.

Getting the images "digitized" for the embroidery program, the minimum quantity required to set up the production.

From what I have read online, I should be able to get the price of $16.25 for a MOQ of 144 pieces. Since there are a few shops local to me, I am going in person to negotiate a price for 24 pieces. Maybe $20 per hat??

I will post more info tomorrow. I am hoping to get people interested in at leat 20 hats..

    Sweet.. Thx

Personally, I can't see spending more than $20 on a hat. Are you good with the Black hat and red kanji design?

I would be interested as well but considering I'm here in Canada shipping will be a concern.

Would the infringement problem be eliminated if the word Suzuki was not on the hat?

I was not going to use the "S" logo either

** I just want to clarify a few things.. I do not want to do anything illegal. I sure don't want to infringe on copyright. I just was trying to get a cool Hayabusa hat.**

If anyone has advice on how to keep my 6 out of trouble, I welcome all advice.. Thanks

    PRICING UPDATE =

With some modifications (no embroidery on the bill of the hat) the set-up fee is $200 and based on the quantity ordered cost of the hats will be about $20-$22 each

I am still trying to research a vendor with a better price
