Hayabusa extended swingarm swap to a 00 gsxr 600

There is this guy that is selling a 8 inch custom extended swingarm, included is the rear and front custom tire and wheel, and he says it fits my 2000 GSX-R 600. I just wanted know if this would actualy fit my bike, i heard that all the rear on a 2000 to 2004 are all the same no matter if its hayabusa or gsxr 600. The rear starting on the 2005 and up have been changed, is this right. Can i purchase the kit or will i be waisting my time and money?

Im not sure but go to thompsonscustomcycle.com and they make those kits. I called them for support and there customer service is 150%.
