Has anyone utilized an 80% AR lower receiver?

I've been researching AR stuff and am curious if anyone here has purchased and then completed the 80% lower receivers? I realize the current political environment affects parts available. Normally I imagine a stripped lower would be prudent to assemble but those are virtually non-existent right now. I know there is an AR following here with real life experiences that will be valuable. Thanks in advance for any information!

Just be patient. Prices are settling and supply will be back soon.
I've been watching Gunbroker like the stock market daily. Things that sold for $2000 instantly only weeks ago are going unbid for $1250-1500. Prices will be back to normal come mid to late summer.
