Bought Harris rearset on EBAy and the directions are very vague. Have problems with the rearbrake side. Can anyone help? I have a 2007 hayabusa

i got vortex and i had 2 remove the rear brake light because i didn't get an xtra piece. i never use my rear brake solo so it i didn't care

I vaguely recall readin about some of the AFM reasets needing a 'brake light' modulator or another piece to make the rear master cylinder and brake switch op correctly .
Is this the prob you are having ?

Most all require a brake light switch. They make a banjo bolt with a switch.

With help from JDSbusa the mod for the rearset from harris came out fine. Had to get my own springs from local hardware store and a couple of washers to set springs on and a door spring to hook up the OEM brake light switch with the brake lever. Works great to for drive with no problems

+1 way back when rear sets were designed more for the track then street. These days rearsets are more street functional. The banjo bolt switch was always an easy solution. :beerchug:
