Happy Birthday AK 47

That's cool. No many weapon designs have changed the game as much it did. I travelled to Moscow in the early 80s with my dad on one of his business trips. We had a brief encounter with the designer of the Ak and I shook his hand right after pops did. I was like 12 or so? Back then I was into guns and shooting but I had no idea of who's hand I had just shaken. There was approximately 10-15 ex military people there. All veterans of WWII. It was more of a 'heres my son' kinda thing where dad was just bragging about his boy and I really didn't even want to be there but it was cool and one of those things I can at least say that I did.

Great gun, best urban weapon ever made.. I've got a pile of Finn'd Mosins but I need to find a good Izhevsk 47. It's tough to get a decent 47 in California...
