We made the papers today with a very rare hailstorm that rolled thru.
60mph gusts with approx 2 inches of rain as well as hail fell.
It lasted about 30 minutes and then was gone but still amazing this far south ice can fall from the sky ?
If you click on the slideshow on the news page you can see what it looked like here in my back yard. I had like dime size balls of ice all over.
Watch the video to and you can see what the line of storms looked like coming in. The wind gusts were what was incredible.
Nothing earth shattering but still a very rare event here.
