Hey guys i put a poll up couple of weeks ago and i decided that i'd get a gixxer 1000 because of price and riding style.

I did find one that's pretty local but the "F1" light is on should this be something i should worry about? I rode it sounds fine.

It's a 2002 gixxer with 8,900 miles only mods are DnD slip on and HID headlights.

Was curious if any of you have or know someone that might have an idea. It's not leaking any fuilds. I want to buy it but i do not want to go into a head ache

I just scored a k6 myself and am still learning about my ride....i have found some usefull info at gixxer.com...ya might check around there to about that issue or just hang on and someone will be along soon here

Ditto on the Gixxer.com. They have a rowdy bunch but a lot of them really know their stuff.

Have a mechanic check it out then drive down the price because of the light.

Eh i'm being more safe I'm having him get it fixed before i buy the bike then after that i'll still get it serviced
