GSXR1000 wheels

Does swapping the stock Busa wheels for the GSXR1000 wheels give a performance gain or is it just a cosmetic gain ? Are they lighter in weight and what does it take to get them on the Busa ? I've heard you gotta make your own spacers . Does anybody offer a retro fit kit for them pre-made ?

I'd guess it'll be cosmetic.

The 1k wheels are actually lighter,not exactly sure of the weight loss but they are,I beleve you have to make spacers/or retro fit the original of the 2 and take a few thousanths off for the front dont know about the rear though.

The gixxer wheels are lighter, so there will be a gain,but they do require some "minor" mods to bolt them on.
