gsxr1000 vs. busa

ok...... i know this really doesnt matter.. but im just curious, how does the new gsxr1000 compare with the busa?

acceleration, mid, and top end... how do they compare?

just wondering... could anyone give me an idea?

The bikes are about the same, except the busa has better top end.
Liter bikes have less torque, but weight a lot less.
The Busa has a longer wheel base and is less wheelie prone.
Its more about the rider than the bike.

The K5 and K6 have just as much stock HP as the Busa (stock). It's also 100lbs lighter. Busa has more Torque, which is a pretty big thing in terms of hard pull/acceration. All the liter bikes have pretty much caught up to the Busa in terms of performance, but top end still belongs to us.

The Gixxer1000k5 accelarates faster than the busa, but unrestricted the busa has better top speed potential. Ask anybody who has ridden both, they'll tell you the same thing..
