GSXR 750 Question

One of my buddies just got a smokin deal on a 06 Gixxer 750. He didn't the owners manual with the bike. We have a couple of questions.

1) Is the chain adj the same as the busa (same amount of slack)?

2) How do we adj the shift light?

Looks like .8-1.2" slack on the chain.
