Hey all,

We are going to be selling my girlfriends 1989 Suzuki GS 500E.
It had been sitting for some time but with a new battery it started right up and ran great. After driving it for a second I realized that the front brake caliper was stuck closed so I took that apart so the wheel could move feely.

The problem I am have is at the Master cylinder. So the plunger (I guess you would call it) that gets pushed in when you grip the brake handle is stuck in. so the brake handle just flops around and wont operate the brake.
Is there a way to get it to come back out and work other than what I have already done? (spray it with WD-40 and hit it with heavy things)
O do I just need to get a new master cylinder setup?

Thanks all

Either rebuild the master cylinder, or replace it!

Rebuild it, also, whenever you service the bike, you should grease that part after cleaning it.

I torque up all the bolts on the bike and clean/grease all pivoting things.
But then I am a saddo :D
