Greetings and odometer issues

Greetings, I'm new to this group. So first off, hi everyone, it's great to be on the same page as you all. I'm Sure I'll learn a lot from guys.
I have a 2005 hayabusa,purchased recently. The odometer and the trip meters are way off showing less Kms than actual. Also , the kpl readout shows around 37.5 (I wish) , which is way too high. Haven't verified weather the speedometer is showing the correct reading or not. Kindly help out

The speedo and ODO are off from the factory, way off could be gearing. Is your gearing stock ?

Yes all original. Took out the speed sensor cleaned it and put back . No change. Did actual around 20 km yesterday, odometer showing 10 km

Would the faulty speed sensor cause this problem. How to check it.

Never researched it. Download the free service manual for your bike. I'll bet there's quick and simple test or replace it which is what we do these days.
