What all is needed to do the grab bar mod?

A dremel or other small grinder and patience. Mount the grab bar, rest the hump on top, mask and mark the area to be cut, then SLOWLY start grinding the marked area. Recheck the fit often so you don't take off to much. Cut from the inside and not to much at once so you don't bubble or burn the paint.

that's the way I did it too. just take your time. measure twice and cut once.

i took mine off and threw it in the back of the harley sidecar along with the seat.
