GPS/RADAR Mount Location

I am trying to mount both my Zumo550 and Escort 8500 but cannot find a good location for both. I don't like the positioning of the Brake Cylinder mount or the Suction Cups on the windshield. the techmount steering head mount works good for both individually but will the dual mount hold both without breaking? Are there any other mounts I have not mentioned that work better?

I made a custom mount for the 8500 and run a Tech mount for the GPS and all works out real nice.. I don't have any real good pics though and I'm not home right now or later for that matter..

Heres what I have... The 8500 on the custom mount, also have a ear bud that is all hard wired with a simple plug and play setup..

Heres the best I can do at this time with the whole setup that I'm rrunning.. Gps is wired to and aux plug under the hump and 8500 is all hard wired with the setup from Escort as you can see on the dash above the gauges..

Hope this helps.. As far as flaming for drilling my top triple tree don't as I still have the stock one in mint condition..

Thanks Dr.. I started making a mount last night for the Tank bolts using the Ram mount 1 " ball and long arm..I am just worried that its too low to see,

thats why I'm running the hard wire smart cord kit from escort on the dash that I can see works real nice..

When I get home I can take better pics if you like..

Pic's would be nice. I was looking at the Marc's Visual Alert which plugs directly into the Radar detector no additional wiring..
