GP Shift

Flipped the shift pattern so that up-shifts are now down on the shift lever. The upshifts seem a lot smoother, firmer, more positive, and quicker. I'm still getting used to it...so there are a lot of times when the bike is in 6th when it should be in 1st. This tends to happen at stop signs.

When you swap over to GP shifting so you can get "The upshifts seem a lot smoother, firmer, more positive, and quicker." You just traded downshifts that were smoother, firmer, more positive, and quicker. For twisty riding I prefer to have better downshifts than upshifts, better to know you're getting into the next gear down as you approach the corner at speed.

You basically traded one thing for another.

Now if you're needing to shift while leaned way over on the left. Then GP shifting makes sense.
