Gotta ride in yesterday!!

Temp got up to 60 degrees yesterday so we got the bikes out & went for a ride. Not bad for December in South Dakota!! The roads have some gravel & wet areas so I couldn't rip it up too much, but we still had a blast! Here we are at the Casino in Central City...

Stopped at new place out in the hills. The guy that ownes it bought a custom a while ago. He lost both his hands in an accident a long time ago and finally decided that he wanted a bike. I am going to try and help him put a foot clutch and a hand shift on it & see if he can ride it. We haven't decided how to do the the throttle yet, but we will figure some thing out!!

Nice pics. Looks like some nice wide open country. ...with two of my favorite rides as well; the V-Max and the Busa.

I always have liked the Vmax too. He can hang with me on the busa till he runs out of 1st gear, then he starts looking at my tail light. That thing definitely hauls for being 1980s technology!!

Lucky you BusainSD i did get out a bit on the viffer but not long been a bit under the weather i see a few hints of snow out there still mines all put up nice for the winter well sorta it's dismanteled getting a suspension overhaul

We haven't decided how to do the the throttle yet, but we will figure some thing out!!

You got me thinking and I remembered seeing something called the "Crampbuster motorcycle cruise control" which is basically a large "tab" that fits over the throttle and allows you to hold it open using your wrist:

Might be able to adapt this somehow.

The roads around here can be nasty in spots since the sanding trucks have been out already. The only bit of fun I really had was when we started to pass a guy on a V-Star going up a long grade with some great sweepers. I went around him at about 60, just taking it easy. I look in the mirror & see him duck down & get on the throttle. I let him pull up along side, looked over, smiled, and pegged it in 3rd. Didn't see anyone for the next 3 miles...
