Hi y’all,
I finally had time to get the Black widow 4-2-2 header installed. Fitment was perfect and it fit perfect with my Dual HMF High mounts-Very happy about that. I was worried it may not work with the high mounts mid pipes but it did. Before I fully installed the header I internally ceramic coated the inside of the header front to back. I’ve done this on a few of my other bikes exhaust systems and it seems to work well at keeping the heat inside the pipe, decreasing the heat soak coming off of the header into surrounding areas and helps the exhaust resist yellowing/bluing. The exhaust sound of this setup is awesome.
I also installed a Muzzys Fan and a Fan By-pass switch and a smoked tail light lense along with some red LED tail light bulbs. I still need to install the led headlights, and the lowering top clamp. But this was enough for today out in the heat.
