Well the guys a decent salesman... gotta love his pitch.
he's selling his busa for 6900 and I'm pretty sure this bike has been forsale for quite some time.
The only drawback I see is the 69000kms on it.
whatcha think?

Got 2 questions:
* have bike been properly dyno'd/tuned?
* reason for the repaint?

Bike has lots of mods....is the $6900 price in US? or Canadian?

its canadian. vancouver listing.
stated it's not a rebuilt status in the ad.
good question on the dyno tuning... will have to find out.

I'm assuming from last mod listed it's either a 99 or 00 ?
Which one is it ? Isn't $6900 alot for a Busa of that year with that many miles ?
Alot of mods for sure but the bike itself is still ten years old .
Should you not be able to find a nice bike a few years newer for same amount or is that year of bike the one you really want ?

Get a '03 or later, by then Suzuki had fixed the fuel pump issues, used steel instead of aluminum in the rear subframe, installed an anti rattle spring in the clutch, resolved the cam chain issues with a new oil feed design, upgraded the ecu to a 32 bit unit, and most importantly installed a torque limiter in the starter idle/reduction gear, larger gears as well, to prevent the cases cracking went the starter went bad.

Just my two cents.

cheers

now theres some if I could use... apparently theres an 05 with less then 30k on it for 5grand at a dealer here in town. I can assure you this wont be an impulse buy. Here in BC we have alot of twisty roads and my travel plans will take me alot of kms this comming year.

Some locals are trying to turn me over to the zx14 but I raise questions on kawasaki's reputation of breakdowns of past years. suzuki has always been the better bike imo.

in case you guys are wondering I'm 5'8" and 135lbs... always been one for the bigger bikes. not much of a person for 2up however, I hate the extra weight throwing off my balance.
