I got a super good deal on a brand new in the box Black Widow 4-2-2 header for my Gen 1 through Black Widow on eBay. Gonna be working to fit it up with my HMF high mounts and mids. I won’t get to it till next weekend though. Initial impressions a are it’s a very nicely built quality header. I know it’s a long shot but has anyone done this? The Black Widow with HMF high mounts? I’ve read they are very similar in design to the Vance Hines headers and those work with the HMF, but are super rare it seems these days for Gen 1. Just curious if there’s anything I should know. Also it came with a tube of Exhaust assembly paste? I’ve never heard of this stuff, is it something I should use, use in every joint? or just fit the pipes raw? I know if they sent it, they’d like it to be used, but curious what others thoughts are on the stuff or are there any warnings with using the stuff?
