I see the NOS bottles in those Tuner Cars all the time all over the place!(johnnycrash @ Jul. 10 2007,12:45) Maybe I'm lucky in Illinois, but my local yocal cops told me I'm fine, and I see several other busa's and an R-1 running around my town with the bottle on the arm. It must vary state to state.
I hear ya on the bottle price - at about $150 each - I'd be p!ssed if they just took it.
Oh, and nice looking trunk - all business just like mine.

not to be negative...but i think the copper was too trusting. if you had no plate and the vin really did not return anything, he should have been worried. it all worked out, but if thats my stolen bike that someone took the plates off, id want the cop to do a little investigating and make sure it was all good. there are a lot of ways to see if a vehicle is registered to you. but it all worked out (and it wasnt a stolen bike)... just my thoughts

Cant speak for other states but here in New York,
the bottle can be out in open site, however if it is, it cannot be connected, no lines feeding to anything (if the bottle is in site)
I do have friends running juice but looking at the bike there is no visual clue..
