Got a bike alarm

you should be able to install it yourself. Lets us know if it is anygood. A lot of us use the Scorpio SR-i500 alarm, it has a lot of the same features.

My only fear about alarms like these is that sometimes you get what you pay for.  I had a BEST alarm that I used for a while, but it didn't last too long and for the price I probably shouldn't have expected it to.  Guess you just have to decide what is important in terms of capabilities and decide from there.  Not trying to bash this alarm because I don't know anything about it, but at first glance it does appear to just be lots of lights.

But regarding the install question, most of them are pretty simple and you can do it yourself.
