GoPro bike mount?

Anyone trust the 3m adhesive applied to the windshield? Or is it a much safer bet to buy an aftermarket attachment method?

I'm looking for ideas on how to add this.

I've had a 3M adhesive GoPro mount on my nose fairing for years and it hasn't failed. I also have the GoPro tethered just in case though!

Always teather it but I haven't heard of anyone losing it yet . I use the suction cup on my tank

Have used both the 3M and suction cup on the front fairing with no issues and also the mirror mount.

Best quality has been with helmet mounted and external mic tucked in behind the right rear heel guard(vibration free recording and no wind noise),also much easier to use with a remote.

External mic covered with foam behind the heel guard,works/sounds great.

Side helmet mounted looks a bit awkward but have tested it to 180+ mph with no issues.

(and out of the 2 helmet mounts the chin mounted works best)

I have one on my nose and tail, also added a mirror mount. The most important part of the installation is clean with alcohol, apply the mount, and DONT touch it for 24 hours.

Works really good 'specially since you can see the start/stop button if you're not using a remote and if using an external speaker the cord drops straight down(I just run mine up inside my shirt or jacket). The only downside is if you're doing a speed run and get into a bit of a tuck you'll mostly video your dash.

You coming over for the Stampede this year bro?
