GiPro too bright? Window tint?

Does anyone find the GiPro to bright, a little distracting?
Especially at night. I was thinking of putting a piece of window tint over it or something.

anyone do anything similar?

i believe there is a brightness adjustment- i'll look it up
in the manual. mine is bright also-but i like it like that.

I thought it was auto-adjusting?? Maybe there is a sensor that needs to be cleaned off on your or something?

I noticed going in and out of a tunnel the other day that mine adjusted quite quickly and the brightness is just fine for me.

Just downloaded the manual. says if its set at the max the auto dimmer won't work. I'll have to check to see what it is set at.

I never changed my factory settings for the automatic dimmer. I works fine for me, bright in the day dim at night...

I dig mine...at night?...i can actually watch mine brighten up as i go under floodlights out on the interstate....then dim back down when i hit the dark parts...works great!

I haven't changed the setings yet, but I was out last night and it seemed to dim a little,
So I think I may just check and see what it is set at. I do like having it though.
