GiPro ATRE Displaying "d"

So I'm kind of curious why my GiPro sometimes displays a quick glimpse of "d" while riding. It doesn't do it on start up and it doesn't constantly display "d" but every now and then it will flash it. I read through the manual and it says that "d" means default, but why would it flash it for only a second or so?

sounds like a connection problem or a short. It's losing power and turning off and back on again.

Thanks Pashnit. I guess it could be a short, but its frustrating because while I'm riding I'm not sure if its doing its job or on default...

mine was showing the 'd' sign too, had the atre rewired and everyting good now

I only have the D when during start up.Anyone here knows why or is it a norm???
