Gen2 upper injectors

Disable one set. You will have to remap the entire thing to get the A/F correct. Only to end up where you are now with worse drivability
If the single set would even flow enough
I am trying to figure out if it is worth the trouble switching from gen1 throttle body to gen2/gsxr1000 TBs on my 1397ccm Gen1 with Gen2 electrics.. Some say 3 hp gain from upper injectors, some say none, but no real proof..
 
I bought a second hand gen2 throttle body and did a dyno test.
Red is with gen1 TBs and gen1 airbox
Blue is gen2 TBs and gen2 airbox

Earlier this year I did a dyno test with just the gen2 airbox and it lost a little power in the top range, so I think the gen2 airbox is the main reason it lost power on this dyno run too.

I guess the bikes tachometer and measured rpm are different. The dyno operator went to redline on the tach..
