Gen2 swingarm install question...

So I am starting to install my swingarm today.
Question to the org please..

Install shaft, tighten to factory torque specs. Bit tight on up/down movement, so back of a smidge. Feels good. Smooth movement with ever so slight resistance.

Now, go round and start with the lock nut, lhs.
Torque wrench set to 72ftlb.
Hold shaft steady on rhs with 24mm tool.
Tighten locknut to spec and swingarm locks. Really tight up/down.

New bearings, shims and dust seals and chain guide all fitted.

So, is this normal?
On other bikes I've done, never had the swingarm lock before..

What was it?

The inner bushings in the swingarm bearings. The hardened steel cylinder.

I'm hoping to heck I didn't crush the new bearings.
