Gen II tank decal question

Ok here's a dumb question. I had a friend tell me the decal is cleared over on the tank and cant be peeled off. (08 orange) Before I start picking with my fingernail I thought I'd ask here. The tank decal is the same as all the rest isn't it? Just stuck on and not coated with clear paint? It is kinda hard to tell. Thankx in advance. - Al

no it is cleared over,i just pulled off all my decals and am going to cover up the tank decal with black stompgrip.

Well poop. Thanks for the quick reply. I think I'll stick to removing the nose and tail decals for now. Grr

Are you referring to the tank stripe or the Suzuki "S" on the tank?

The tank stripe, but while were at it... the chrome "s" will come off won't it? (2 way tape?)

The stripe is cleared over...the "S" will come off

if you want the S off heat with a heatgun/blow dryer and use some dental floss and run it under the S in a seesaw motion to help remove it w/o damaging it.
