Gen II Slip on shorties

What would you suggest for an economical but effective (light weight with some HP Boost) shorties?
I can not afford a full system/pc3 etc etc right now. BTW I am not crazy about super loud noises so that is not my aim.

try hotbodies they are pretty cheap and sound good. $250 for two slip-ons

they are all about the same quality. you can make them yourself pretty easy.

pull the cans and see how you like it. its very loud.

and your not gonna gain much of anything performance and you will still need a tune with shorties.

You can pull the cans(mufflers) and the mid pipes and get a good idea how loud its going to be. No matter what you buy it won't be much quieter. I had shorties on my Gen1 and took them off due to the noise they put out. Sounded great in the beginning and got old real fast. So if you not crazy about super loud noises,then shorties is prob not going to be your $$ well spent.

They echo sound back in traffic too.

You're right. I hate loud exhausts.
