I picked up my new '09 silver busa today. I had the dealer install some stainless braided clutch / brake lines and a set of Galfer Wave Rotors that I got from Pashnit.
I carefully weighed the Galfers and the Stock rotors and found that the Galfer fronts are each 8oz lighter than stock and the rear Galfer is 10oz lighter for a total weight savings of 1lb 10oz.
Not nearly as much as the 5lb weight savings I have heard of (online
) but still not bad considering it is rotation mass.
