I'm on TufBusa's list to buy an Ohlins steering damper to be mounted in the stock-under the fairing- location. BUT, I stopped in Reno's local Suzuki/Ducati shop and I saw a TOP mounted Ohlin's unit and it looked so amazing! I always say I'm not into bling for bling's sake but it's just so trick when you can see it!
Anyways, here's my problem, I have a TechMount unit(for the Garmin) sticking out of the center of the steering head...right where the damper would mount. Is there another way to install a GPS type mount besides that center hole? (like off a clip on handlebar or something).

Thanks if anyone has any opinions or experience on this. Doyle

Hey Big Dog, I know it looks cool but I would mount underneath... my 2cents

That's exactly why I went with OEM replacement...

I just wish that someone would come out with a favourable replacement using the OEM mounting points.

I just opt for the original damper with new fluids. Good enough.

YES! Busa159, what the heck mount do you have? Although I'm talking the tube shaped Ohlins, it begins in the middle and goes to the right....so yours would work! please, please tell me. Raydog
