Was just wondering if the rear wheel had been taken off, there is a spacer that sometimes gets missed when putting it back together and when you torque everything down it puts extra stress on the bearings.

I thought my bike was chirping when it was in the garage but noticed a small bird flew in and couldn't find it's way out. What a job it was to get the darned bird out.
have a look at the outer sealing at the drum at 1st pic. little hint : a drop of oil between swing arm and seal stopped the noise.
i already had that (your) noise at a K8 with ~ 39 000 km / 24 000 mi where the bearing cage was broken.
see how far the sealing was pressed out by the rounds of the bearing.
